1.I wanted to clarify ‘locating’ the Charitable organizer after they sign in to set up their fundraiser at a restaurant. While there are roughly 1,000,000 charities in the United States roughly 10% of them are school related organizations ( Pto, Pta, school principal, religious schools etc.) The remaining 90% are youth sports leagues, medical disease organization, religious organizations, cancer society, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer etc., as well as many other types of charities that raise money at restaurants.
On the initial screen when we are asking the organizer ‘who they are’ We should have two boxes to check or select: one that says ‘School charitable organization’ and/or one box that says ‘other charitable organization’. The database that I have based on the ZIP Code and State/Province where the charity is located would actually create quite a lengthy drop-down menu of all charities and mixing them together.
That drop-down menu would be quite lengthy and I have hundreds of total charities. I’m thinking it is best to separate the schools from all the other charities.

2.When launching this product I will need the schools to propel and drive the success out of the box of this platform. Schools have very similar structures and commonality where as the other non-for profit charities can be highly political and have dissimilar fundraising activities. I’m thinking what would help us get through to a drop-down menu (pictured below) would be to ask them which of the two select boxes they are: They could enter in their ZIP Code and their state which would get us to the schools more succinctly.
I live in zip code 60514 in Illinois (state) we have roughly 8 schools in our small community. By selecting the ZIP Code we are more accurately able to then choose the restaurant for up to 5 miles around these schools addresses. 
You should also be able to add your charity. The administrator (me) will take it from there to validate their true existence. System will send me an email asking for permission. Looking for no fraud or criminality here.
